Role of the Editor

Trends in Renewable Energy (U.S. ISSN: 2376-2136, online ISSN: 2376-2144) is a journal run exclusively by scientists. It aims to provide a fair platform among scholars, share our knowledge, and make impacts in the energy related areas. The goal of this journal is to join the OASPA within 1 year, pass the EI Compendex and SCI reviews within 5 years.

Qualifications

Ph.D. degree and minimum 5 years of relevant postgraduate experience, or Master’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience. Having a strong track record of publications or other proofs to show activities in the energy related field.

Duty of the editor

1. Assuming a role of scientific and intellectual leadership for the development of TRE, and overseeing its activities.

2. Will handle 1-2 submitted manuscripts per year. Exercising his/her best professional judgment in accepting only original contributions.

3. May have to personally invite reviewers during first 2-year operation, because we don’t have a large reviewer database yet.

4. Being expected to submit one review/research article every 2 years to your own journal.

Compensation

The editor is a volunteer position for the moment. Once the Journal generated the revenue, the publisher shall improve the benefits of the editors.
